GE Healthcare AAF and APAF sponsors "Peace Be Still" May 2005

In Celebration of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. for their contributions to society and stance for non-violent social change , The African American Forum (AAF) and the Asian Pacific American Forum (APAF) of GE Healthcare co-sponsored an Art Exhibit and Reception entitled "Peace Be Still". Forty works of art by African American and Eastern Indian Artists were shipped to GE Healthcare's headquarters in Wisconsin for this month-long display during Asian Pacific Heritage Month. A portion of sales proceeds were donated to a Tsunami relief fund.
